The University of Sheffield offers an extensive range of venues to suit every type of event. From our beautiful Victorian mansion to the Diamond Building, with seven lecture theatres ranging from 160 to 400 seats, and the recently opened Wave — a carbon negative building featuring five lecture theatres (120–400 capacity) alongside 16 breakout rooms — we’re confident we have the perfect setting for your event.
Whether you are planning an exhibition, day meeting, residential conference, training session, networking event or even a wedding, our diverse spaces can be tailored to your needs. Our conference and meeting venues also include the contemporary surroundings of INOX and the unique hybrid hotel, Jonas, which offers three modern, flexible and stylish event spaces.
With integrated AV facilities, plasma screens and healthy catering options, we provide a bespoke conference experience designed around the expectations of today’s event organisers.
