[Saltash, Cornwall] – China Fleet Country Club is excited to announce the completion of a substantial £300,000 refurbishment of its state-of-the-art gym, marking a significant investment in the future of health and fitness in Cornwall. This major upgrade reflects the Club’s ongoing commitment to providing top-tier facilities that support the wellbeing of its members and guests.
The gym, a central highlight of China Fleet Country Club, has undergone an upgrade with the installation of the latest cardiovascular equipment, new pieces of resistance equipment, Hyperice massage recovery area and an expanded range of free weights. This investment in the gym sets the stage for further exciting developments in the coming weeks.
“Our new gym refurbishment is a game-changer for the Club,” said Miles Coleman, Health Club Manager of China Fleet Country Club. “We’ve invested in the very best equipment and technology to ensure that our members have access to a truly cutting-edge fitness environment. This will be followed by more upgrades this year as we continue to enhance our facilities and deliver an unparalleled fitness experience.”
The gym refurbishment is part of China Fleet Country Club’s broader commitment to continuously enhancing its facilities. Over the coming weeks, the Club will introduce further developments, including a new Barn Spa relaxation room, a revitalised Aqua Spa area with a Herbal Lounge experience sauna, and the launch of the innovative BOX12 fitness concept.

In addition to the gym, China Fleet has also invested £100,000 this year in a complete renovation of The Brasserie, offering members and guests an elevated dining experience in the stunning surroundings of Saltash, Cornwall.
This refurbishment is the latest in a series of strategic investments by China Fleet Trust, the military charity responsible for supporting Royal Navy (RN), Royal Marines (RM), Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA), and Maritime Reserves personnel and their families. Recent years have seen a £100,000 investment in green solar energy technology and a £2.5 million refurbishment of the hotel and resort, further establishing China Fleet Country Club as a flagship destination for health, wellbeing, and leisure.

1. Conference Payments:Credit Agreements. Where a credit agreement exists, invoices presented by China Fleet Country Club will be payable within 30 days from the date of issue. Any queries on invoices must be notified to China Fleet Country Club within 14 days of the invoice date. Should queries not be raised within this time period, full payment will be required. All credit facilities are issued at the discretion of China Fleet Country Club, subject to The Client providing 2 credit references within 7 days of the application request details and the subsequent results of credit checks. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. If booking is cancelled 14 days or less prior to the event date then 50% of the outstanding booking will be payable.If bookings are cancelled or amended 7 days or less prior to the event date then 75% of the outstanding balance will be payable.If bookings are cancelled or amended 48 hours or less prior to the event date then 100% of the outstanding balance will be payable.VAT. All rates are inclusive of current VAT. Any future changes to taxes will affect the prices accordinglyFailure to comply with the deposit and payment schedule may at China Fleets discretion result in the cancellation of the booking2. For all DJ bookings made by China Fleet Country Club on your behalf, payment in full is required at all times.3. It is your responsibility to notify the China Fleet Country Club of any change to your contact details.4. China Fleet Country Club does not accept liability for loss or damage to any object, equipment, furniture, stock or other property brought on to the premises by you or hired on your behalf.5. Room access and vacate times agreed must be adhered to at all times.6. The China Fleet Country Club reserves the right to alter the layout or change rooms to be provided for the purpose of the conference under exceptional circumstances.7. The China Fleet Country Club reserves the right to charge for any breakages or malicious damage to property during the booking.8. If The China Fleet Country Club is prevented from carrying out all its obligations by circumstances beyond its reasonable control,including government intervention, strikes, labour disputes, accidents, acts of God, national or local disasters or war or any event causing the whole or a substantial part of the Company to be closed to the public, The Company's liability will be no greater than the amount already paid by The Client to the Company in respect of services booked.9. Cancellation of all Hotel rooms prior to your event will be subject to a £20 cancellation fee. If a hotel reservation is cancelled after 12pm the day before arrival, then full payment for the 1st night of your stay will be taken minus any deposit paid for the hotel room.
