The Abbey Hotel has a Silver Award for Greengage Ecosmart

Corporate Responsibility

The Abbey Hotel work hard to become eco friendly through building good relationships with employees, supplier and the community through measures that are practical to improve the environmental performance of our business. Some of the steps we have taken to become an Eco Friendly Hotel include:

Eco friendly water conservation has been accomplished through water filtration systems in the hotel and the golf course to ensure we save as much water as possible and reduce of environmental footprint.

Energy saving light bulbs have been put in place as well as the use of power factor correlation equipment to reduce our negative impacts on the environment.

Recycling and waste management systems are put in place to ensure all paper, glass and printer cartridges are recycled. All brochures are available on a PDF format from our website.

The Abbey Hotel regularly donates to local charities and communities with furniture and equipment.

Cancellation Policy

For Instant Book, a Moderate Cancellation Policy offers the following:
  • Guests can cancel up to 15 days before the event for a full refund.
  • If cancellation occurs between 14 – 8 days before the event, a 50% refund is given.
  • No refund and full charges apply if cancelled within 7 days of the event.
