De Vere Wokefield Estate has been completely transformed following a £20 million restoration. Whether you are attending a meeting in the contemporary, state of the art Wokefield Place or staying in one of our more traditional bedrooms in The Mansion House, Wokefield Estate is the venue for all occasions.Wokefield Estate has the capacity for a large conference up to 400 delegates requiring syndicate rooms but we also have perfect meeting rooms suitable for smaller, more intimate groups.There are multiple places at the venue where you can enjoy fresh, seasonal produce from great local suppliers, not to mention the addition of a sophisticated, wood-paneled Whisky Lounge. Within our 250 acres, you will find a golf course and our very own ropes course and team building partner all onsite and available for your use.
The new Elizabeth line can take you from Reading to Central London in just 50 minutes with up to six trains an hour deparing from Reading station.

The terms used in the below revisions have the same meaning as when used in our Venue Hire Terms and Conditions
Additional Clause 6.5
Please consider the below additional clause part of your event terms and conditions for your event.
We will not apply a Cancellation Charge for any Booking if the reason for cancellation of your Event is a public health emergency as declared by Public Health England, the Chief Medical Officer for England or any law or any action taken by the UK government or UK public authority, in each case that directly affects the operation of the Event.
Amended Clause 8.2
8.2.1. we will not be liable for a breach of Contract arising due to an event outside of our control, this includes situations where we cannot provide access to the Function Room, or we have to cancel a Booking or Event due to events such as fires, floods or utility failures or a public health emergency as declared by Public Health England, the Chief Medical Officer for England or any law or any action taken by the UK government or UK public authority.
Except as stated above the De Vere Booking Terms shall continue in full force and effect.
