The hotel provides reusable cutlery and crockery for events requiring catering, and also promotes additional environmentally friendly practices such as food waste recycling, the use of paper straws, and a number of Fair Trade products.
Corporate Responsibility Efforts & Achievements (Sustainability & the Environment):
The hotel uses Hilton’s LightStay system to track corporate responsibility efforts and achievements. It is used to track energy, water, waste, carbon emissions, volunteering, donations and more as part of Hilton’s Corporate Responsibility strategy, Travel with Purpose.
The hotel participates in the Hilton Meet with Purpose initiative promoting socially & environmentally responsible ways for planners to reduce waste, improve efficiencies and incorporate well-being into their meetings and events. Equally as important, the initiative is designed to elevate and enhance the attendee experience.
