The 4-star DoubleTree by Hilton Nottingham - Gateway Hotel opened in March 2015.  In September 2022 the Orchard Wing of 36 bedrooms opened increasin our bedroom stock to 141 guest rooms.   The hotel is ideally situated just 3.5 miles from Nottingham city centre, and 1 mile from Junction 26 of the M1 motorway. The hotel boasts a total of 10 meeting rooms, all with natural daylight, air-conditioning and free WiFi.  Orchard Suite – Ground Floor – 250 theatre made up of: D’Arcy Room – Ground Floor – 130 theatre, Pinova Room – Ground Floor – 40 theatre, Bramley Room – Ground Floor – 40 theatre, Pippin Room – Ground Floor – 30 theatre, Braeburn Room - Ground Floor – 40 theatre.    Terrace Suite – Ground Floor - 100 theatre.  Garden Suite – Ground Floor - 80 theatre, made up of: Rose Garden Room – Ground Floor – 50 theatre and Herb Garden Room - Ground Floor – 50 theatre.   Acorn 1 – First Floor –50 theatre.  Acorn 2 – Second Floor –16 boardroom.

The hotel provides reusable cutlery and crockery for events requiring catering, and also promotes additional environmentally friendly practices such as food waste recycling, the use of paper straws, and a number of Fair Trade products.
