Testimonials
Nothing pleases us more than the positive feedback we receive from so many of our clients. Here is a small selection from the thank you messages we have been sent:
'I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Craig and the whole operations team, there was not one single glitch throughout the whole event. I was very, very impressed with how the team functioned, I know you are used to do doing large events every day or every week but the efficiency and professionalism of the team was second to none. The organisation of the staff ( the speed of the dinner turn around took me by surprise that was the fastest turn around I have seen at any event I have done!), the politeness of the team and the friendly and happy nature of the management team running the operation was astounding. Often when in London hotels the team are a little removed and not overly friendly but not at the Met everyone was happy to see you and very keen to assist and help no matter how small the request.
To me the fact I did not have to chase for anything or request something more than once was amazing, I run a lot of events and this is probably the most efficient operation set up I have ever experienced.'

'The delivery for the conference which we managed last week in your hotel was close to being faultless. We received a genuine warm welcome from every member of staff that we met and throughout the hotel there was an understanding and appreciation of the objectives of the event and an anticipation of delegates’ requirements. The food at all times was excellent particularly the conference lunches and the ‘family service’ conference dinner. We attempted some fairly complicated delegate movements during the conference as well as catering in somewhat restricted areas and all this also was smooth and efficient. All in all a real credit to you and your staff, you are one of the best conference hotels that I have worked with in recent years! Would you please pass our thanks to everyone concerned.
It seems unfair to single out personalities but I have to mention specifically Mehdi who was professional, confident, reassuring with the highest standards and Roberta who worked tirelessly for us, was always one step ahead and went way beyond the norm in caring for us.'

'We recently completed our 13th annual Convention with this being the 3rd at The Hilton London Metropole, and have to commend the venue for the excellent professional service which we received.
The complex five day event employs all of the services offered by the venue which includes maximising the use of all exhibitions spaces, meeting rooms and catering services, along with a significant allocation of bedrooms.
We are grateful not only to all heads of departments and their staff who provides an excellent enthusiastic service but also to the senior management of the Hilton who accommodate our requirements with professionalism and grace.
With up to 14,000 attendees attending the event this January all services ran efficiently and all appreciated the combined team effort.
We look forward to our next event in January 2016'

Hilton offers Carbon Neutral Meetings that support sustainable development projects, reduce carbon emissions and protect the environment. Hilton will offset your event’s calculated carbon emissions by investing in a portfolio of carbon reduction projects with our partner, Clime Co.
The Hilton London Metropole has contributed towards the UK division of Hilton Worldwide first hotel company to be awarded the Carbon Trust Standard in 2009. This recognises Hilton’s continued commitment to reduce our carbon footprint in the UK by 15% in the last four years.
Hilton in the Community Foundation wants to help as many young people as possible. Under the banner Supporting Young People Worldwide the Foundation is dedicated to making a real difference to those most in need, wherever Hilton Worldwide operates. Through targeted grant-giving, we aim to support smaller charities that might otherwise be overlooked.
Under the remits of education and health, the Foundation has a particular focus on:
Disabled children
Children in hospital
Homelessness
Life-limited children in hospices
The Foundation makes grants to a wide range of charities and organisations that meet one of our chosen areas of focus:
Young People – Education
Young People – Health
Since 2000 when the Foundation was created, more than £8 million has been raised and donated to good causes. In 2009, the Foundation donated over £1.1m to numerous good causes, including DebRA, National Star College, Macmillan Cancer Support and many more.
