Friends House is an award-winning meetings and events venue, located in Euston, central London. With 35 event spaces, including our unique 1,000-seater auditorium, The Light, we offer amazing versatility and flexibility for all your event needs. From corporate trainings and AGMs to conferences, rehearsals, and product launches, our venue caters to a diverse array of events. Our outdoor spaces, including a garden and a private courtyard, provide the perfect backdrop for your gatherings too. We firmly believe in fostering sustainable practices and ensuring that all our staff are remunerated fairly, well above the real Living Wage. As recipients of the Green Meetings Gold and ECOsmart Platinum accreditations, sustainability is at the core of our business. All profits generated by Friends House are gift-aided to the charity of Quakers in Britain, supporting initiatives that champion peace, justice, equality, and sustainability—both locally and globally.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
All Events shall be subject without exclusion to the following Terms and Conditions.
In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:
Agreement is the letter of agreement and these terms and conditions;
Client is the person, organisation, company or other body responsible for booking the Event and includes its employees, agents or subcontractors;
Company is Friends House (London) Hospitality Ltd, company registration number 06204129;
Data Protection and Privacy Legislation (i) unless and until the GDPR is no longer directly applicable in the UK, the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) and UK Data Protection Act 2018, then (ii) any successor legislation to the GDPR or the Data Protection Act 2018, (iii) The Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003;
Delegates means people attending the Event;
Event is the event in respect of which the Client has made a booking;
Friends House is the building at Friends House 173-177 Euston Road London NW1 2BJ;
Hiring Period the period of hire of the Venue, as set out in the Letter Agreement;
Letter Agreement is the letter agreement attached to these Terms and Conditions which form part of the Agreement;
Lettings Policy means the Company’s policy available at https://www.friendshouse.co.uk/friends-house-letting-policy
Services means the services listed in the Letter Agreement;
Terms and Conditions are these terms and conditions;
The Light is the main auditorium;
The Society is the Britain Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers);
Venue is the room(s) hired, as set out in the Letter Agreement;
Working Day a day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in England, when banks in London are open for business.
THE AGREEMENT1.1 By signing and returning these Terms and Conditions to the Company, the Client accepts and acknowledges that it is entering into an Agreement with the Company that is made on and subject to the terms of the Letter Agreement and these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 Subject to the acceptance, observance and performance of the conditions set out in this Agreement, the Company hereby licenses and authorises the Client (his agents, assigns and all persons duly authorised by him or them) to enter upon and use such parts of Friends House noted in the Letter Agreement, for the sole purpose of holding the Event during the Hiring Period.For our full T&Cs, please refer to our website and the URL provided below.

Friends House is a Green Meetings Gold accredited venue. We take action to reduce our carbon emissions, cut our waste, choose local sourcing, and preserve our ecosystem.
Customers
Our rates are fairly priced and transparent.
Staff
We are a Living Wage Employer and pay staff above the London Living Wage.
We have a 1:4 ratio between the highest and lowest-paid members of staff.
Supplier
We encourage a diverse supply chain and actively choose to work with companies that align with our ethics and values.
