TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. This contract will be concluded upon The Thurrock Hotel countersigning this booking form. 2. Notice of cancellation must be given in writing, by email or by fax: For confirmed bookings the following cancellation charges will apply:(a) Over 7 days notice ʹNo charge (b) Over 48 hours but less than 7 days notice ʹ50% (c) Less than 48Hours notice ʹ100% 3. Payment is due prior to arrival at least 7 days to your event, unless credit facilities have been agreed beforehand. 4. Where payment is not made on departure or pre-paid, full payment of any outstanding balance is due within 30 days of completion of the conference or will incur 3% per month interest.- This only applies to credit account 5. The client shall be liable for any damage caused by any acts, default or neglect by the client, its agents or its guests. 6. The hotel shall not be liable for any delay or failure in providing its services as a result of any cause beyond its control such as fire, flood, industrial action or similar. 7. The terms of this contract shall be subject to English law. 8. Notwithstanding the above a reduction in numbers of delegates up to a maximum of 10% may be made without charge when notified in writing more than 14 days before the event. 9. By signing the contract below the client is accepting the terms and conditions set out above. Failure to sign may result in the booking being released.

Cancellation Policy

For Instant Book, a Moderate Cancellation Policy offers the following:
  • Guests can cancel up to 15 days before the event for a full refund.
  • If cancellation occurs between 14 – 8 days before the event, a 50% refund is given.
  • No refund and full charges apply if cancelled within 7 days of the event.
