Description

There are plenty of reasons to use our meeting rooms to host your conference or corporate event at Solent Hotel and Spa, but one of the most compelling is its accessibility. It’s just off Junction 9 of the M27 - close enough to several major metropolitan centres, including Southampton, Portsmouth and London, without the associated traffic problems of a city centre. Thanks to the designated on-site parking for well over 250 vehicles there are none of the problems associated with city centre conference venues.

Delegate and accommodation final numbers The chargeable numbers are as detailed on the booking form. 14 days prior to the arrival date the booker / company will need to provide an update on numbers.  If these numbers are greater than those originally confirmed this becomes the new chargeable number.  If the numbers fall or rise by more than 10% we may need to provide alternative accommodation and space of an appropriate size. . What will the cancellation charge be if I do not achieve the confirmed numbers or need to cancel the whole event?If the company need to reduce numbers below 90% of the original confirmed number or cancel part or the entire event the company must let us know as soon as possible.  We will try to resell the facilities the company has reserved to reduce the cancellation charge.  If a cancellation charge does apply the charges will be calculated as a percentage of the revenue for all facilities, equipment and services reserved as follows:Days prior to date of arrivalCancellation percentage of revenueBetween 90 and 180 days30% of the total booking value Between 28 and 90 Days50% of the total booking value Between 14 and 28 Days75% of the total booking valueLess than 14 Days100% of the total booking value If delegates/guests don’t arrive or leave early and we can’t resell their bedroom or event facilities then a 100% cancellation charge will apply.CancellationEither party can cancel the event in the following circumstances:·         The other party enters any type of insolvency proceedings·         The other party fails to abide by the terms of the contractIf there is government instructed restriction which prevents the hotel from operating, or business travel restrictions prevents the company delegates from safely committing to their scheduled meeting, the booking can be rescheduled for a mutually convenient time within a 12-month period with no charges.  Please note that transferred reservations will be subject to availability and any rate differences and are only available on a one-time basis.
