Group Booking Terms: Leisure & Business Cancelation: Should you wish to cancel your booking please advise Point A Hotels in writing at the earliest opportunity. The date which the Hotel receives your written correspondence will, for all purposes, be the date of the groups official cancellation and an email will be returned to confirm receipt of the cancellation.  

Time of Contract - 10% of rooms are chargeable. Only 90% of rooms can be cancelled free of charge. 8 Weeks Prior to arrival date - 50% of rooms are chargeable. Only 50% of rooms can be cancelled free of charge.4 Weeks Prior to arrival date – All rooms are fully chargeable. Payment:10% Deposit at time of Contract. Non-Refundable.  40% Prepayment 8 weeks prior to the group's arrival date. Final Balance 4 weeks prior to the group’s arrival date. Commission: Commissionable and Non Commissionable Rates OfferedOther T&Cs: Rates are based on a minimum of 10 rooms on at least one night. Any changes in the number of rooms may invalidate the rate offered.Free Room space not available for this group booking. Point A require a breakdown of the room types at the time of contracting. Please be aware that due to twin rooms (2 single beds) limitations: should changes to the contracted room types be required, this will be subject to hotel availability. Point A should be contacted in writing to request any room type changes and must be confirmed in return by Point A.Point A requires regular sales updates on contracted groups.Full Group Rooming list should be provided no later than 2 weeks prior to arrival, any changes after this should be communicated with Point A Hotels as soon as possible and is subject to availability. All Point A Hotels Group bookings must have a signed contract returned as guaranteed confirmation of booking. Edinburgh Visitor Levy from 1 October 2025, all bookings for stays from 24 July 2026 will be subject to a 5% visitor levy, introduced by the City of Edinburgh. The tax is calculated at 5% of the accommodation cost (excluding any paid product upsells). It applies to all guests staying at the hotel, for the first 5 nights of their stay only.

All our Hotels are BREEAM certified, and is in the process of doing Green Tourism certification.

Corporate Responsibility

Our the social side our strategy is around supporting people – customers, employees and local communities. In April 2024 we started our three-year partnership with St Mungos. Within a year we have raised £45,667. Together, we have completed 129 collective hours of volunteering to support St Mungo’s, with 25 colleagues generously dedicating their time to help in our services.
