Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel is a 1 minute walk from Princes Street, 5 minutes in a taxi to Waverley or Haymarket Stations and 30 minutes (traffic dependant) from Edinburgh Airport.

Pickup/Drop off

For coach parties the Hotel recommends dropping off on George Street to avoid a disturbace of the city centre traffic. For individual guests parking at the Hotel is pre-bookable (advised) via the Hotel concierge team - the charge per night is £35.

Our extensive environmental and sustainability policies guide how we do this. Our efforts began almost five years ago, achieving a reduction in in our carbon output by 2000 tons in the first year
Cancellation Policy
For Instant Book, a Moderate Cancellation Policy offers the following:
  • Guests can cancel up to 15 days before the event for a full refund.
  • If cancellation occurs between 14 – 8 days before the event, a 50% refund is given.
  • No refund and full charges apply if cancelled within 7 days of the event.
