The Spitfire Ground set in the heart of Canterbury is Kent's leading conference and events venue. It has been the home to Kent County Cricket Club since 1842 and witnessed some of the sports greatest playing in its tranquil and unique surroundings. The Spitfire Ground offers businesses, groups and individuals a wealth of opportunities to entertain, celebrate, educate or host , in a range of conference rooms, lounges and boxes. In 1847 The Spitfire Ground made history and became home to one of England's best known cricket clubs - Kent County Cricket Club. The ground is also one of the regions foremost conference and events venues with a fantastic selection of suites available for hire for all kinds of corporate and private occasions. The Spitfire Ground has a capacity of 15,000 and since it's foundation in 1847, four One Day International matches have been played there increasing its profile as a cricket venue.
