Description

The Oaks Hotel was once the private home of a wealthy local merchant and has been sympathetically restored preserving the grand feel of a bygone era. The lounge and reception area is dominated by a 25ft high stained glass window which tells the story of Abraham Althams life and work in Burnley area. Both the restaurant and bar are in the 'old house' with grand ornate ceilings and floor to ceiling windows creating instant theatre. The hotel is set in mature beautiful grounds with views of Pendle Hill from the terrace.

Payment Method:
Regular Customers can apply for a credit account. Credit accounts are issued with an appropriate credit limit subject to a credit check. All account invoices must be settled within 14 days following the date of the invoice.
For customers without a credit account payment is due 7 days prior to the conference arrival date.
Cancellation Policy:
Written notification is to be received by the hotel no later than 14 Days prior to arrival.
The charge will be 100% of the price calculated in accordance with the details set out in the contract
Minimum Numbers:
All day delegate and residential packages are based on a minimum number of 10. If numbers fall below this the hotel reserves the right to amend the package and pricing.
Final Numbers:
7 days prior to arrival. The final invoice will be calculated on these numbers or the number of people actually attending, whichever is greater.

Corporate Responsibility

Low energy light bulbs and timers/motion sensors used in the hotel.,Bed linen changed for once per week or for each new guest to reduce water and detergent use.,Towels are changed once placed in the bath to reduce water and detergent use.

Cancellation Policy

For Instant Book, a Moderate Cancellation Policy offers the following:
  • Guests can cancel up to 15 days before the event for a full refund.
  • If cancellation occurs between 14 – 8 days before the event, a 50% refund is given.
  • No refund and full charges apply if cancelled within 7 days of the event.
