The ceremonial entrance overlooks the moat and leads into the spectacular foyer, a grand space lined with doulting stone and paved with black and white Italian marble. From the foyer you will find the stunning Queen Elizabeth II Hall, Council Chamber and a suite of 7 elegantly furnished Meeting Rooms which are available for hire for many events ranging from conferences, training sessions and student lectures to weddings and award ceremonies. All event spaces are fully equipped with AV equipment including a screen and projector or LCD TV Screen. We have a friendly and dedicated Conference and Events Team with a wealth of knowledge and experience on hand from the moment you make your first enquiry to the actual day of the event to ensure that everything runs to plan.

There is a ramp infront of City Hall suitable for pick up and drop off. Entry is via Park Street, please note there is a weight limit for the ramp.There is a sinking bollard in operation, when the driver arrives they will need to buzz security who will ask the purpose of their visit before lowering the bollard to allow entry onto the ramp.
