In its heyday, Bradford was known as the textile capital of the world. Our hotel was built to accommodate the rich and famous in surroundings and manner to which they had become accustomed. The fine 100 year old Victorian building was privately purchased in 1993 and rescued from demolition, after 30 years of closure and a total refurbishment the bedrooms of Bradford's premier hotel become established once again.A stay in our hotel is a uniquely relaxing experience, step back into the ambience of an era long gone but with all the facilities of the 21st Century. Corporate Responsibility

We believe that we have a responsibility not only as a major employer but also in an ambassadorial role for Bradford, to forge and maintain links with local and regional communities.
We take a proactive role in the City of Bradford and sits on a number of Community Forums, including Bradford City Centre Steering Group, City Centre Beat (Crime Partnership) Steering Group, Local Affairs Committee (through Membership of Bradford Chamber of Commerce) We support our local Rotary Club that meets at the hotel, and the General Manager is indeed a member of the Rotary Club of Bradford Bronte.
Education Sector
The Midland Hotel engages with the local Education Sector primarily as an Industry Professional and advisor to schools that provide Hospitality and Catering as a option. We offer talks in Schools and Colleges, and ‘real’ behind the scenes visits to the hotel.
