NCC Crowned Wedding Venue of the Year 2026

The National Motorcycle Museum (at the NCC) has been named Wedding Venue of the Year at Britain’s Asian Wedding Awards 2026, held at the Leonardo Royal Hotel in Birmingham on Wednesday 11 February.

The award recognises the venue’s outstanding contribution to the Asian wedding industry and its continued growth in 2025, hosting Sikh, Hindu, Muslim and multicultural celebrations from across the Midlands and beyond.

With over 20 years of experience, the National Motorcycle Museum has built a strong reputation for delivering large-scale Asian weddings, regularly hosting around 300 guests and accommodating up to 700. Its unique museum setting offers couples a distinctive backdrop, while its flexibility allows for both traditional ceremonies and high-impact contemporary production.

A key part of the venue’s success is its dedicated wedding co-ordinator, Arun, who brings more than 17 years of industry experience. From first enquiry to the wedding day itself, Arun provides hands-on support, with an average response time of just 30 minutes across phone, website and social media platforms.

Commenting on the win, Arun said:“This award means so much to us because it reflects the trust our couples place in us during one of the most important moments of their lives. We work incredibly hard to understand every family’s traditions, vision and expectations, and to deliver weddings that feel both culturally authentic and truly spectacular. To be recognised nationally is a huge honour for the entire team.”

Conveniently located near major motorways, Birmingham Airport, the NEC and several temples including Leamington Spa Gurdwara, the venue attracts couples from across the UK, particularly London.

As a proud patron of the Birmingham Chamber Asian Business community, the National Motorcycle Museum remains committed to supporting and celebrating Asian culture while delivering exceptional wedding experiences.

Corporate Responsibility

The company launched its CSR Strategy in December 2006 to recognise its social and environmental responsibility to the wider community; locally, regionally, nationally and globally. There are three principle strands: Charity of the Year sponsorship – Working with a charity is important in building relationships with the communities in which the company operates. Community support – Linking up with charities and charity liaison bodies, such as Business in the Community, which are local to our facilities. The giving of our time and expertise in this way is beneficial both for the personal development of the staff who get involved and the communities within which we work and live.
