With 190 acres to discover, our private Grade II* registered historic gardens were designed by Humphry Repton, regarded as the last great landscape designer of the 18th century. They remain intact today as the finest example of his work.

As you approach Ashridge, signposts indicate that it is a private toll road. Please take care when driving over the ramps on this section of road. Open-air parking facilities are available. If coming by car, we advise you to leave your luggage in your vehicle until you have checked in, so that Reception may direct you to where to park and unload.

Ashridge maintains good relationships with its community. It hosts an annual Garden Party for the local Hospice of St Francis, which is the biggest fund-raising event they organise. It also hosts an annual Mud-Pack Challenge for the Hospice.
