Woodside Scoops 2 Nominations at Prestigious Meetings Awards
Woodside in Warwickshire is thrilled to have received two nominations at the prestigious 2018 Meetings and Incentive Travel (M&IT) Industry Awards. The Sundial Group venue has been shortlisted for Best Value for Money Conference Venue and Best UK Management Training Centre. The M&IT Awards programme is the oldest in the meetings arena and sets the standard for the industry. Recognising and rewarding excellence, the awards are the result of customer voting, in particular event organisers. Tim Chudley, Sundial Group's Managing Director, said: “We are incredibly proud to have received these nominations for Woodside once again in the M&IT Awards shortlist. Gaining such recognition demonstrates how highly we are regarded amongst UK meeting planners and we'd really like to thank our customers for taking the time to vote for us."
Woodside Joins Venues of Excellence
Woodside has joined the prestigious consortium, Venues of Excellence. The Sundial Group hotel joins 38 other venues in the leading collection of exceptional venues delivering excellence in conferences, training and events in the UK.
In order to become a member of the consortium, Woodside was required to meet stringent criteria in terms of quality, facilities, accommodation and customer care, and have been recognised for delivering an exceptional experience in meetings and events.

Woodside Earns TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for 7th Year in a Row
Woodside in Warwickshire has earned a 2017 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in recognition of providing exceptional customer service, an accolade received now for seven consecutive years.
Celebrating excellence in hospitality, the Certificate of Excellence is awarded to businesses that have earned great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor in the past year, and is only given to establishments that have continually delivered a superior customer experience.

Woodside Chef Named Best Young Conference Hotel Chef in the World
Mary Palecek, Sous Chef at Woodside, has been named Young Conference Centre Chef of the Year at a prestigious global cooking competition in America.
Mary scooped the Junior title at the Global Copper Skillet Competition run by IACC in Los Angeles on Tuesday 4th April.
Already UK and European Champion, Mary, aged 25, represented Europe to compete against other IACC champions from the US and Australia Asia Pacific in a timed cook off.
Mary wowed the judges with her dish of pan fried sirloin steak, sautéed courgette and aubergine, poached sea bass with tomato coriander salsa, heritage carrots and caramelised shallots.
Speaking about her success, Mary said: “It was a fantastic experience to represent Europe in such a prestigious competition. I’m honoured to have won the Global title, and still in shock! This is a real highlight of my career.”
