Emirates Old Trafford is delighted to announce the expansion of its expertise in conferences and events.
Louise Milne and Dan Whitehead are bringing a wealth of experience to an already strong and high preforming team as Business Development Support and Business Development Manager respectively.

Emirates Old Trafford to host the European Nuclear Decommissioning Conference 2017
Europe’s 8th annual nuclear decommissioning and waste management conference, is to be held at Emirates Old Trafford, on the 24th and 25th May.
Uniting over 300 leading industry experts from across Europe, the conference will address the biggest challenges, opportunities and innovations for the industry, and provide delegates with the perfect platform to present themselves at the cutting edge of the next generation of shutdown.

Emirates Old Trafford has been shortlisted as a finalist within two categories by the prestigious CHS Awards.
Listed as a contender for Best Boardroom; for the spectacular Executive boxes, and for the Best Large Conference / Exhibition Space; for the striking flagship venue The Point, Emirates Old Trafford is honoured to have been recognised for its amazing offering.
This announcement follows the recent news that Emirates Old Trafford has too been shortlisted by the Sports Business Awards within the Best Non Sporting Use of a Venue category.

Manchester charity Prevent Breast Cancer raised an impressive £79,000 at its annual ball on the 25 March.
The charity transformed The Point at Emirate at Old Trafford into an extravagant vintage circus, complete with acrobats, jugglers and a bearded lady, with guests being treated to show-stopping performances as they dined, and Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally Metcalfe in the soap, was in attendance, while actor Sacha Dhawan was also among the guests.
Sally Dynevor, who has supported the charity for over 10 years, said: “Every year, I’m overwhelmed by the amount of love and support there is out there for this very special charity. We’re into our next chapter now and it’s exciting to watch it develop and grow even more.

Janice Barrington-Wood joins as Sales Manager at Hilton Garden Inn
Emirates Old Trafford is delighted to welcome Janice Barrington-Wood as Sales Manager of the new Hilton Garden Inn which opens this summer.
Barrington-Wood brings over 20 years’ sales experience and arrives from the Hilton at Manchester Airport where she held the position of Sales Manager for four and a half years. Prior to that, Janice worked at the Etrop Grange and the MacDonald hotel in Chester working as Regional Sales Manager and Revenue Manager respectively.
Daniel Gidney, Chief Executive at Emirates Old Trafford said, “I am delighted to welcome Janice as our new Sales Manager. She brings valuable experience and knowledge within the hotel sector and will be a great addition to our team.”

Record-breaking year for conferences and events at Emirates Old Trafford
Emirates Old Trafford continues to go from strength to strength and hits £3.7m in revenue making it a record-breaking year for conferencing and events at the venue. Manchester’s award-winning, multi-purpose venue has a reputation for delivering inspirational conferences, meetings, events and dinners and can cater from 10 to 2,000.
