Emirates Old Trafford to host TheStadiumBusiness Design and Development Summit 2018

Emirates Old Trafford, home of Lancashire County Cricket Club, is delighted to announce that it has been appointed as the destination and host for TheStadiumBusiness Summit 2018 - The world’s leading gathering of stadium, arena and sports venue business leaders. Taking place here at Emirates Old Trafford on the 12-13 June 2018, the prestigious event, owned by Xperiology, will deliver a conference, exhibition, stadium tours, networking events and TheStadiumBusiness Awards, to a gathering of many of the sports and entertainment sector’s most respected stadium and events professionals. Ian Nuttall, Chief Executive of Xperiology, said “Each year the Summit relocates to ensure we are showcasing the very latest in stadium management and operations. Over the past decade we’ve hosted TheStadiumBusiness Design & Development Summit at such acclaimed venues as Wembley, The O2, Juventus Stadium, Camp Nou, the Bernabéu and Lord’s.

One Love Manchester Benefit Concert wins at Stadium Business Awards

The One Love Manchester concert, and the Emirates Old Trafford and Lancashire County Cricket Club team, were recognised at the prestigious global 2017 Stadium Business Awards, which were held at Croke Park on Thursday 22 June. The Club picked up the Judges’ Choice Award for the delivery of the recent One Love Manchester benefit concert at Emirates Old Trafford on Sunday 4 June, alongside Manchester United Football Club at Old Trafford for their continued help and assistance. The concert, which was held in memory of those affected by the attack in Manchester on Monday 22 May, raised more than £2.5 million and was viewed by over 14.5 million people on BBC Television, was staged at Emirates Old Trafford, with just over a week’s notice. Lancashire County Cricket Club’s CEO, Daniel Gidney, said: “This award is dedicated to everyone associated with the event from the artists, to the organisers, through to the people that attended on Sunday 4 July.

Emirates Old Trafford strengthens its Conference and Events Team

Emirates Old Trafford is delighted to announce the expansion of its expertise in conferences and events. Louise Milne and Dan Whitehead are bringing a wealth of experience to an already strong and high preforming team as Business Development Support and Business Development Manager respectively. Angela Hodson, Head of Conference and Events at Emirates Old Trafford said: “We are all incredibly excited to welcome Louise and Dan to our fantastic team.
