The Grand Brighton’s façade restoration project is making great progress
The Grand Brighton’s highly anticipated multi-million pound restoration project is on schedule for completion in autumn, when the fully restored façade will be unveiled. Located on Brighton’s famous seafront, the project has been conducted in four phases, with initial work commencing on the East Wing of the building back in October 2016.
The project incorporates total restoration and enhancement to the iconic hotel, including full insulation, rendering, as well as new windows and balconies for sea facing rooms. A new state of the art external lighting system will also be installed, further enhancing the architectural design of this famous building. Alongside this, the hotel is nearing completion of its air conditioning installation. All 201 bedrooms will be fully air-conditioned ready for the summer season, with over two thirds of the hotel complete to date.
