Holyhead is a truly unique
destination for
conferences,
meetings and
events. A major port on the Isle of Anglesey, Holyhead is in fact located on Holy Island which becomes separated from Anglesey at high tide.
It has a distinctive feel of its own and combines a wealth of features into a compact area. Spectacular country and coastal locations including beaches, mountains, nature reserves and country parks make this an adventurer’s paradise, perfect for outdoor pursuit
teambuilding events and
corporate activities, whilst several golf courses provide more relaxed
corporate golf events alongside
meeting rooms. Being islands, Holyhead and Anglesey offer a complete sense of escape, providing hideaway
meeting venues well suited to
conference retreats, and being rich in culture, history and character will inspire delegates to ‘think outside the box’.
Holyhead is easy to reach via the M56/A55 route using the Menai Suspension Bridge, via good rail links, by inbound ferry from Ireland and via flights into Manchester or Liverpool airports for international conference delegates.
Sporting venues include numerous golf courses such as Holyhead Golf Club which offers corporate golf events as well as meeting space for up to 100 delegates whereas Anglesey Business Centre is a modern facility with a conference room for meetings and training events.
