On the 2nd March 2016 the MIA (Meetings Industry Association) announced that Tim Clark has been elected to the MIA’s Development Board.

Tim’s relationship with the MIA started when he was director at his company, Velvet Software, working with UK convention bureaux. Velvet supplied various back office systems to support MIA’s operations and as a member, Tim attended various events. With his new role as Strategic Development Director at venuedirectory.com Tim most recently helped manage the development of MIA’s new myeventshub.co.uk web portal, which is powered by venuedirectory.com via an API implementation. Tim commented, “We’re delighted to have contributed to the development and supported MIA’s new website; this integration is one of a number that venuedirectory.com have with leading industry partners to enable on-line search, and enquiry processing.”
