The Caterer’s Hotel Cateys 2014 awards are an awards ceremony celebrating the most successful hotels and hoteliers throughout the UK. Launched in 2007, the awards were designed to reward the people that work relentlessly to provide an outstanding experience to their guests.
With an incredible 90 judges spending two full days debating the shortlist for 17 award categories, this is a massive event for the MICE industry. Once the shortlists have been created, the final event takes place at London’s Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel on the 28th November.
There are a variety of awards on offer at the event, ranging from individual attributes to hotel-keeping skills to other areas such as social responsibility or culinary skills. No-matter what the category, each nomination is recognised as an outstanding achiever in their field. The awards are given out to employees, employee teams, hotels and hotel groups, creating a dynamic and debate-inspiring atmosphere. Arguably the most coveted award, The Caterer’s Hotelier of the Year gives title to the individual has displayed the highest level of management, leadership and communication skills to ensure that their hotel offers a magnificent experience.
Set in the amazing Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel, Hotel Cateys awards evening in Westminster is a luxurious black tie event. The evening comprises a fabulous drinks reception and three course dinner, followed by the main awards ceremony, which begins at 9.45, then post awards entertainment and dancing from 11.15 until 1.30 when the bar closes.
